Laughter VS Tears
[what a mixture of moods today... what a contrast too. PMS + fluctuating emotions = craaaappppp.... =S ... meh... there's always tomoro to look forward to... i guess hui hui]
Today started off on an excellent note, one filled with laughter, friendship, fun. The Kick-ass Kat, Cute Claudia and I were messing around today... telling funny stories, making hilarious gestures, teasing one another about our speech, actions, situations etc... the laughter simply would not stop!!! I laughed so much that I started tearing, literally- tears rolling down my face as if I was about to start one my brawls. All of our stomach's and jaw hurt and we were having the time of our lives! This lasted all the way till the end of our day together at university, where we all went our separate ways to do some essential studying for upcoming exams. Ahhh... fond memories.
However, this awesome mood took an undesirable sharp turn, where my tears of joy turned into real tears, the tears that flow when one is upset. This happened quite later in the day though, towards the night, and it is very annoying how we can experience so many feelings in one day- a good day can be ruined, or a bad one made enjoyable. Intense dislike. It is such a shame that a bright day just turned gloomy, rain clouds condensing, preparing to dampen heightened spirits.
Luckily, having a bright day to look back to, I've cheered myself up fairly well. My night is still not fantastic though, but at least the release of emotion felt great. Anyway, I'm going away to Kalgoorlie tomorrow for about one and a half days... I guess I can't complain?

Noticing you!
[a post that has yet been delayed terribly... =P.. but havnt had inspiration lately... don relli noe wat to write about... =S ... sighzzz... =P... ah wellz... just somethin i noticed recently. hui hui]
After attending a tutorial today that was not scheduled for my group, I saw some people who do 2 of my core units (which we all spend the most time on per week) that I have never, ever seen before! It is amazing how after spending all this time, I still don't know all the people who studies medicine. I probably only know less than a quarter of the podiatry students! The feeling is horrible! Only a room filled with about probably 350 people, the same people about 6 hours a week, I still don't know who they are! Unlike with the dentistry group, we all know where we belong. It's quite upsetting since I should know at least everyone's faces, since we're such a close knitted cohort. Anyway, the main point is that, the two guys that I have never seen before today, one was still like a little child, but the other... was quite attractive.
Relationships have also been another big part of this week's social calendar- friends talking through their feelings, avoiding their feelings, complaining about their treatment by others, complimenting others for their actions... a thoroughly mixed bags of feelings and critique. I guess this is normal? Usually not so much is bombarded to me, this week was quite amplified. PMS? That time of the month? I don't know... but I'm glad that everyone has their share in saying what they like, to spill out emotions, thoughts and opinions.
A few more weeks to exams, the tension is growing exponentially. Everyone is frantically finding time to study, sleep, play... simply trying to balance the stress with the relaxation. Healthy thinking that hopefully leads to productivity. I think I'll stop here... my thoughts are just pouring out without process... as time drifts nearer and nearer to The Search for the Next Pussycat Doll Finale.

Weird Happenings...

Did not get time to blog on Friday... but I still clearly remember what happened...
1 A girl straightening her hair in public toilets
As Kasia, Tiff and I walked into one of the public toilets at uni, we instantly detected the smell of burnt hair when one straightens his/her hair. As we approached the sinks, we saw a girl with her entire hair straightening tool kit (brush, clips, straightener, all lying neatly on a rolled out carry-pack case) in the bathroom, straightening her hair layer by layer. We finished our business and left, sat at James Oval for a good 30 minutes till we saw her walk by, hair fluttering ever so beautifully. Weird?
2 A male dominatrix walks by
After the girl strutted away, we started conversing about uniforms and university. A man who looked like a male dominatrix then walks by at this most suited moment- he was dressed with a Gothic aura, black pants, black lipstick... see-through netted top with black ribbons draping randomly. Strange?
3 Extreme mohawk
As Claudia and I were walking towards OHCWA after a lecture, a guy with the thinnest but tallest mohawk walks by. This was not too strange... but considering the previous events, this fits it quite well.
A few other interesting things happened that Friday. Don't really recall much else. Gold fish memory. Sigh. Glad I could share the wonders of the world first hand though!
